The most important characteristic of this role is ownership. We are no looking for someone who simply wants to manage an existing HR function. We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to build one.
You will have the opportunity to establish the foundations of AI-KOMU's Slovak organisation, recruit its first generation of employees, shape its workplace environment and help define the culture that will ultimately support a much larger operation.
The successful candidate will therefore need to be comfortable moving between strategic and practical responsibilities. On one day you may be interviewing a senior candidate; on another you may be meeting an office supplier, organising an employee event or working with the UK team on a new Group policy.

The Opportunity
This is an unusually entrepreneurial HR role.
You will not be joining an established office with an existing HR department, established processes and a large team around you. You will be the person who helps build those things.
As AI-KOMU's first employee in Slovakia, you will work closely with the Luxembourg and UK offices and Group Leadership to establish the Bratislava office from the ground up and create the foundations for the company's long-term growth in Slovakia.
The successful candidate will combine strong HR capability with excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness, discretion and an entrepreneurial mindset.
You will be responsible for making sure that AI-KOMU is not simply present in Slovakia, but that it develops a distinctive, high-performance and values-driven culture from day one.
